I picked some Lesser Celandine flowers and collected larger amounts of moss and lichen to attempt to make a larger batch of pigment.
The flowers produced a loverly yellow colour but a small amount. Although picking more moss and lichen, it was rather difficult to produce a lot at once and needs to be done in small amounts to pour into a glass jar.
I managed it though and stored them in a drawer but I haven’t done any animation sketches to paint yet so it might sit awhile before I use it. I painted the usual tests of both items in my sketch book and on the animation paper.
