Today I picked lichen and moss from the Lagan Meadows as there is an abundance of these at the moment. Both produced a fair amount of liquid, both shades of green with the moss darker and richer than the lichen.
After painting test swatches in my sketchbook, I was able to save an amount of each pigment in glass jars, storing them in a dark drawer for later use in animation.
